At Glenmeadow, we celebrate residents who continue to pursue their passions, stay active, and embrace opportunities to do what they love. Resident Barbara Buddington is a wonderful example of that spirit! With a lifelong passion for basketball, Barbara has been playing in the CT Senior Women’s basketball league since 2002. Her love for the game has also taken her to the Senior Games, where she has continued to demonstrate her dedication to the sport and her competitive spirit.
Recently, Barbara could be spotted on the court in an NBC Connecticut CT Live segment highlighting senior women’s basketball. The feature celebrated women who continue to enjoy the game while emphasizing the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and connection at every age.
Barbara’s more than two decades of participation in senior basketball are a wonderful reminder that pursuing lifelong passions can bring joy, purpose, and meaningful connections throughout every stage of life.
