Forever Plaid
Majestic Theater, West Springfield
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25
As this nostalgic musical begins, the members of a barbershop quartet are rehearsing their big finale while traveling on the road. They are hit broadside by a school bus full of teenage girls on their way to witness the Beatles make their television debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. While the youngsters are not injured, all four musicians are killed instantly. Somehow, though, they posthumously manage to take the stage for one final gig. Great songs that you’re sure to know and love. “Screamingly funny and entirely enchanting.”
