As a nonprofit organization, Glenmeadow is able to stay true to our mission and focused on our vision through the generous support of individuals and organizations. Our priority is providing an exemplary experience for our residents, supporting our dedicated staff, and strengthening the families and community who make our work possible. Your generosity helps us continue enriching lives and reinvesting in our community without competing with the priorities of owners or shareholders.

Supporters donate to Glenmeadow for a variety of reasons. Oftentimes, they wish to express their gratitude for the experience of a loved one. It may be to recognize the importance of having a vibrant community for older adults in our region. Whatever the reason, donors know their gifts make a difference at Glenmeadow.

Your contribution helps enrich the lives of our residents and supports the dedicated staff who care for them. Here are just a few of the meaningful ways your generosity makes a difference:

Annual Giving

Make an immediate, tangible difference in the lives of Glenmeadow residents and staff by giving to the Glenmeadow Annual Fund. Annual gifts help Glenmeadow maintain and enrich its experience for residents and staff alike. Residents, family, and friends can direct their annual gifts to one of several areas to support their greatest passions.

  • Greatest Need: Glenmeadow will direct your gift to the areas where it can make the most impact.
  • Invest in our Workforce: Professional development for employees ensures their continued development and promotes retention. Support general offerings for all staff, as well as direct support for staff who are furthering their education.
  • Resident Scholarship: When a resident has outlived their assets, scholarships allow residents to remain in their home at Glenmeadow.
  • Staff Appreciation Fund: Glenmeadow employees do not accept gratuities. Residents, families, and friends can express gratitude for their dedication and hard work through this fund.
  • Memorial Gifts: Make a gift in memory of a Glenmeadow resident or staff member. Families are invited to direct donations to Glenmeadow by providing the following language in obituaries: “Memorial contributions may be made to Glenmeadow, 24 Tabor Crossing, Longmeadow, MA 01106.”

Planned Giving

Glenmeadow offers various planned giving options, including bequests, charitable gift annuities, and IRA charitable rollovers, which allow donors to create a lasting legacy, support future staff and residents, and receive tax benefits. These gifts can establish endowed funds or support the annual fund categories noted above. For more information on endowed funds, please reach out to Glenmeadow.

Your generosity, in any amount, is appreciated and truly makes a difference.
